Mission
Mobilize volunteers and entities government, faith, health, business, and the community at large to partner with us in filling the gaps that exist in the delivery of fundamental social services to older adults, persons with different abilities and other citizens requesting support in Northeast Florida.

To transform health and wellness for the underserved in Jacksonville, Florida through Bridge the Gap’s food security efforts and other wellness-related services and referral program.

We believe no senior should feel forgotten. No family should feel invisible. No neighbor should have to face hardship alone. Located in the heart of Jacksonville’s Brentwood community, Bridge The Gap works every day to fill the gaps that exist in basic social services, food access, wellness education, and community support.

What began as a grassroots effort to meet immediate needs has grown into a trusted nonprofit organization focused on restoring dignity, improving wellness, reducing food insecurity, and strengthening underserved neighborhoods throughout Jacksonville, Florida.
